Who is this knee-chin guy, anyway?

I love irritating my loud neighbors by Deauth flooding their Wi-Fi using Kali Linux.

Starting small with big aspirations. As a final year masters student at the University of Pennsylvania's Electrical Engineering department, I have big dreams of kick-starting my career as a product developer. My interests are primarily in the field of smart systems, networking and robotics. I absolutely enjoy rapid prototyping a hardware product along with hacking together a web system to go with it.
Here are my current positions:

  • Wharton wants to call me an "expert-in-residence". I call myslef a tech consultant for wannabe entrepreneurs. Here is the link: Student-EIR
  • I am actively involved as a product engineer with Barn Owl, a AgTech startup.
  • I also work as a teaching assistant for the course on Human Factors Engineering at Penn, which focuses on design of systems and technology while keeping in mind human cognitive abilities and decision processes.

What can I do?

Electronics Prototyping:

Altium PCB designer, Eagle PCB CAD, Solidworks 3D CAD, Xilinx FPGAs, Arduino/ Raspberry Pi, AVR atmega, LPWAN radio modules, Xbee modules.

Python, C, Embedded C, Matlab, Verilog, VHDL

Simulation and Design:

Simulink, Ltspice, Multisim, Anylogic

Web stuff I can hack together:

PHP, Javascript, bubble.is, blockspring, RESTful API database calls

Courses at Penn:
  • Real Time and Embedded Systems (Fall 2016)
  • Analog Circuit Design (Fall 2016)
  • Design of Smart Systems (Spring 2016)
  • Advanced Robotics (Spring 2016)
  • Human Factors Engineering (Spring 2016)
  • Networking and Protocols (Fall 2015)
  • Control Systems (Fall 2015)
  • Linear Systems Theory (Fall 2015)

Internships are fun!

Barn Owl LLC, Colorado Springs

Covered on Wharton's Blog HERE. Development and test of a wireless water tank monitoring unit for ranches. Worked on everything from hardware, firmware and PCB design to a prototyped web interface.

Instituto Superior T├ęcnico, Lisbon

Blue-ray, an underwater optical communication modem for use with Marine AUVs. Paper presented at the Third Underwater Communications and Networking Conference.

Caltech, Pasadena

Worked at the Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory (LIGO) Lab. Successfully built a remote Photo-diode frequency response measurement system for use with the laser interferometer setup.

I hail from a scenic town called Mysuru in India and have slowly fallen in love with Philadelphia over the past year. When I'm not buried under grad school work, I bike and discover new culinary passions. Are you up for talking spirituality and the meaning of life? Why do we exist? Why do we suffer? Nietzsche FTW!

Would you like to talk to me?

Yes! Then why wait?
